The much-awaited return of Klay Thompson finally happened and he did not disappoint.
Playing an NBA game for the first time after two and a half years, Thompson’s debut
ended in a win, a 17-point outing and a best player of the game citation.
And the world reacted.
Jammal Murray of the Denver Nuggets wrote on Twitter “Goosebumps watching Klay!!”
while LeBron James used a lot of fire emojis to show his love.
Kyle Lowry of the Miami Heat, former NBA player Jamal Crawford, Donovan Mitchell
and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz, and Lakers legend Pau Gasol are some of the big
names who welcomed back Thompson.
Much has change since he last played in the 2019 NBA Finals. It was before pandemic,
he was still teammate with Kevin Durant and other superstars are still on different
teams.
Nonetheless, the whole basketball world community along with Klay rejoiced to his NBA
return.
