The Golden State Warriors quickly get back at the Phoenix Suns with a win at the
Chase Center and end the latter’s historic franchise record of 18-game winning streak.
Stephen Curry broke out from the Suns defense and poured in 23 points on 6-out-of-11
shooting from distance.
Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton Jr. each tallied 16 points to back Curry in the
offensive end.
Meanwhile, Deandre Ayton topscored the Suns with 23 markers as they continue to
miss the service of Devin Booker due to an injury.
With the win, Golden State is back on top of the standings with 19-3 win-loss record
while Phoenix comes second 19-4.
Aside from Curry’s usual three-point show, Juan Tuscano-Anderson delivered the
possible highlight of the game with an emphatic facial jam over former Warriors Javale
McGee.
