Less than a week before his boxing comeback, Manny Pacquiao finally made his return
to Las Vegas for the final preparation before fight night on Sunday [PH time].
Jinkee, Pacquiao’s wife, is also in Las Vegas to accompany and support the eight-
division world champion.
The arrival of the Filipino icon was met with little fans due to the covid restrictions, he
immediately went to the MGM Grand Arena, the same venue he fought Keith Thurman
in 2019 to claim the WBA welterweight belt. There Pacquiao entertained the media and
answered some questions.
Pacquiao added that before they officially turn to Vegas, he and his camp were happy
about their progress despite the last-minute change of his opponent.
Shifting to orthodox sparring partners went smoothly and his long-time partner Freddie
Roach was also pleased by their development.
Pacquiao will face Yordenis Ugas as he aims to take back the WBA belt that was
stripped from him.
