While the fight of Britain is only waiting for few more signs to make it official, there is a possibility for the unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to ditch the fight with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The financials are good, both sides are agreeing for most of the aspects of the proposed two-fight deal but how really good it is to a done deal?
Joshua once did turn away from Deontay Wilder, the former WBC titleholder. It was in 2018, Joshua said he will fight the then-undefeated American but it never turned into a reality.
Joshua tends to run and has been escaping Wilder and Fury for years now. And there is a possibility that he will do the same with Fury despite both camps looking good in negotiation right now.
The thing is, he will fight another boxer in the heavyweight before again ‘fighting’ the other champion for the undisputed heavyweight title.
If he really is convinced that he will fight the unbeaten Fury, he should have called out the British after his dominating knockout win against Kubrat Pulev.
He must have the guts to call out Fury for the undisputed match but instead, he named nobody.
Fury then targeted Joshua by saying that the unified champ is too scared to call him out.
Joshua responded by saying “that’s good to hear. At least I can get him in the ring. That’s what we want, right?”
Well, how much of it is true?
Just by looking at their tale of the tape, Fury is definitely on the upper hand. The Gypsy King stands taller at 6 foot 9 inches compared to Joshua’s 6 foot and 5 inches.
It is also clear in the memories how indestructible and invincible Fury was when he fought Wilder who was a great knockout artist and much taller than Joshua.
