Roger Mayweather, the ‘Black Mamba’ of boxing and trainer to Floyd Mayweather Jr., has passed away at the age of 58.

Roger was a legend as a boxer himself before honing his nephew, Floyd to be the best fighter in the world.

The late Mayweather held the lineal titles in the super featherweight division as well as titles in the light welterweight before passing the torch to Floyd in the 1990s.

Roger and Floyd spent 12 fruitful years together as Mayweather Jr. makes his way to the top of boxing.

As of the writing, the cause of death has not been released.

Mayweather Jr., has yet to issue an statement as well regarding the death of his uncle.
